A  student, taking a science class and a religion class at the local grade school, came home to hear his father shout " Jesus H. Christ " as he pounded his thumb with a hammer.  Having just discussed meiosis in his science class..and the immaculate conception in his religion class..he reasoned that the "H" must stand for Haploid.
