Lab Manual:    Human Anatomy, Cat Dissection  Marieb 3rd ed.

                      Anatomy Coloring Book

 

Exam Points: 4 lecture exams @.................................400pts

                     4 lab practicals @.................................400pts

                     lab quizzes @.......................................50 pts

                     Total.....................................................850pts

 

Grade Scale:              Points                        Letter Grade

                                 765 and above                A

                                  680 - 764                       B

                                  595 - 679                       C

                                  510 - 594                       D

                                  509 and below               F

 

 Exams:        Lecture exams will be multiple choice.  The final lecture exam will have a comprehensive

                    essay question in addition to the multiple choice.  This essay question will be approximately

                    20% of the final exam points.

 

Practicals:    Lab practicals will be timed.  These exams may or may not be given on the same day as 

                    the lecture exam so as to keep on schedule with the non-class ( holiday ) days.  

 

Make Up 

   Policy:    Missed labs, lab quizzes, and/or practicals MAY NOT BE MADE UP!  Lecture exams 

                 may only be made up if the instructor is notified oft he pending absence PRIOR TO THE EXAM

                 AND ONLY under emergency situations.  The instructor reserves the right to decide what is 

                 or is not an emergency.

 

Academic

  Honesty:         The instructor reserves the right to assign a grade of ZERO POINTS to any assignment

                          or exam or quiz in which the student is caught cheating.  If you have questions as to what

                          constitutes cheating (besides the obvious....using materials other than those specified by

                          the instructor...supplying others with materials or opportunities for cheating....discussing

                          with or looking off of other students work ), please discuss this with your instructor

                          in advance to a testing situation.
