This course is designed for students who wish to investigate selected topics related to the genetics or biochemistry and molecular biology course in which they are enrolled. Students read and analyze original research reports, learn how to relate methodology and approach to reported results, and critically evaluate authors' conclusions. This is a seminar/discussion class; oral and written presentations are required.
