BIOSOC IRVINE VALLEY COLLEGE                 

     Welcome to the IVC Biology Society homepage!!!  We encourage you to participate in the second semester of the first biology club on campus.   Whether or not you are majoring in biology, we welcome you.  Biosoc is an action oriented club, concentrating our activites on ecologically improving the college while gaining a greater understanding of the practical applications of biology.  Now, this may all sound very academically based, but we are also concerned with improving student social life on campus (in other words, we also like to have a good time!!!).  In addtion to enriching your knowledge of the various aspects of the life sciences, social clubs such as Biosoc are regarded favourably upon by universities when applying to transfer.  Life does not just revolve around books, and Biosoc is committed to enhancing a well balanced atmosphere for all students.
